This is the third attempt at a topic for this week’s photo essay. The first one demanded more time to compose. The second one suffered a software glitch that resulted in a loss of an hour’s worth of photo work. If not my face, at least my feelings at this very moment mirror the expression of this horse with attitude.

So I’ll leave you with this observation until next week. In Carly Simon’s classic, ‘You’re So Vain’ (companion video below), she sings:

“You’re so vain
You probably think this song is about you
You’re so vain (you’re so vain)
I’ll bet you think this song is about you
Don’t you? Don’t you?”

I love Carly, but the song IS about him! So yeah… it’s just horse sense.

I greatly enjoy listening to this song for many reasons; every time I do, I can make the aforementioned horse face.
