Those who deny the significant role luck has in all our lives I find offensive. Those who think luck is all that is needed are sadly going to be disappointed even further. Best definition I have heard that balances the two is, “luck is where is where opportunity and being prepared meet.” Since we don’t know where that intersection is, the best choice is not giving up preparing.
