2020.21 : Slipped Away With Her

But now I smell the rain.
And with it pain.
And it’s headed my way.
How years ago in days of old,
when magic filled the air.
‘Twas in the darkest depths of Mordor,
I met a girl so fair.
But Gollum, and the evil one crept up.
And slipped away with her, her, her.
Ah, there’s nothing I can do now.
I guess I’ll keep on Ramble on.
Gotta find the queen of all my dreams.

— Jimmy Page & Robert Plant

It was this week, when the person I knew as myself, came to an end. I created RickyMoon.com as a means to cope with not just the loss, but with the way Fate wasn’t just ironic. Not just cruel. Rather, cruelly ironic. I wish it was only I who suffered. She too, suffered. We suffered.

The moments I capture with my camera are an attempt to do as Adele wrote, “Turn my sorrow into treasured gold.”
