Grown adults ghosting loved ones and friends. Since when did this become socially acceptable? The only time I recall this behavior being wise was when personal safety was at stake.
The list of reasons why one chooses to stop communicating with another is long. None of which require justification to another.
To make that decision, then, without notice, cut off all communication with someone who has just reason to worry about you, is selfish and cruel. No matter the internal justifications.
Is it hard to tell someone goodbye? Yes. Again, since when did being adult become easy?
